What is the Electronic Registration System (eRE)?
The Electronic Registration System is a new system from the CEE where the elector may use to perform their electoral transactions electronically, real time and from anywhere.

It is an online system to perform electoral transactions that grants to citizens ownership of their electoral record to edit as needed in compliance with current laws and regulations making them knowledgeable and legally responsible of their own electoral records content.

• If I am already registered as a voter

- electoral identification number
- the last four digits of the social security number
- select and answer two security questions

(for those that have not vote in the last two general elections)
- Create an eRE account
- link my electoral record with an eRE account

- change the electoral status to ACTIVO-REACTIVACIÓN in the record

The CEE electronic registration system should be used only by voters in need of performing electoral transactions such as registration, reactivation, transfer and relocation.

No, only those in need of performing electoral transactions such as registration, reactivation, transfer and relocation.

All transactions regularly performed on a Junta de Inscripción Permanante with the exception of getting a voter’s identification card.
